EL CENTRO — Little Lambs Private Preschool Center, LLC celebrated its grand opening and ribbon cutting to the community on Tuesday, March 26th.
“We had been wanting to open a preschool for years, but I wasn't ready. God put it in my heart that day, and that day blew up to this. I do really believe that because everything was orchestrated by Him. I had a lot of donations. I had a lot of help,” said Patricia “Patti” Pradis, owner of Little Lambs.
Little Lambs is a private Christian-based preschool center offering a kindergarten readiness curriculum with faith teachings. Staff members teach the fundamentals of faith through child-formatted worship, prayer, and bible teachings.
It serves the ages from 2 to 5 years with part-time, full-time, and daycare services. The center currently staffs four teachers assisting in the enrollment of thirteen children.
“My motivation was God first, of course, and my family,” said Pradis.
Pradis shared her appreciation for her family and support system, who pushed her to pursue her calling in early childhood learning.
“My colleague on the council, Martha Cardenas Singh, and I have been working on revitalizing the downtown area. This is just another new addition to the businesses that will begin flourishing in this area,” said El Centro Madam Mayor Sylvia Marroquin.
Imperial Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce who hosted and organized the ribbon cutting welcomed Little Lambs to the directory of businesses on Main Street’s downtown.
